A fresh installation of Manjaro with Xfce installed will use about 390 MB of system memory.
Install Manjaro in a VirtualBox Virtual Machine. Highlight your newly created VM and click “start” at the top. KDE Plasma is actually running, but the desktop (plasmashell) and the window manager are not running. Metro2005 • 7 mo. ago. For me KDE plasma is the best DE for linux and the apps are (imo) indeed much more mature than most gnome apps with a lot more options. Icon size in dolphin can be resized with ctrl plus or minus. I was once a gnome 2 fan but since gnome 3 the workflow is just not my thing.
