Even if you are level 80 and have World Completion, you won't be able to gain full access to your professions elite specialization. Here's a short guide on how to best go about it. Hero Points. During the leveling process (from 1 to 80) and through World Completion, there are a total of 398 Hero Points available.
When a character accumulates enough experience, they will gain a level and receive level rewards up to the maximum level 80. Depending on a level, rewards unlock new skills and mechanics, providing various game tips and guidance, increase character's attributes, grant hero points, and unlock equipment of higher rarity.
Had a level 24 Elementalist that was made 3 years ago, so with the change in Hero Points it had a bunch of stupid abilities auto-selected. But I figured if I just leveled up quickly enough, I'd get a bunch of Hero Points to fill out a different track.
Levelling routine : I usually try to get every hero point on every zone, from low level zones to higher level zones, depending on my character level. Doing some hearts or events when I come by some, gathering wood, plants or metal when I have gathering tools and walk past some nodes.
Just do hero points. Preferably on PoF maps (more points per challenge). How fast they will accumulate depends on: Effectiveness of your build; Gear (damage) Map travel (super fast with mounts) My estimate is it can be done well within the hour, as all PoF maps are open from the getgo.
ObtuseScorebook • 1 yr. ago. No need to play the story, the best way to get to the extension zones fast is: HoT: the guild hall in auric basin. PoF: spearmarshall plea (and entering a zone unlocks the starting waypoint so you can go back to crystal oasis in a minute) EoD: arborstone portal scroll.
Tuesday we will get the first big balance patch since the expansion's release so hopefully the situation changes somewhat then. In any case, can someone provide a good guide for getting all the hero points after level 80? (i don't have world completion) How many hours (approx.) will it take to get 250 hero points?
In PvE Hero Challenges (HPs) are earned and collectively pooled per each character on your account. HPs are not to be confused with Mastery Points (or Mastery Insights), which are account-bound. Unspent HPs are used to train your character in an elite profession - you need a total of 250 unspent HPs to completely unlock an elite.
Hero points come from each zone in core, one at a time, or from the jungle or desert, 10 at a time. So keep exploring and you'll get more. There are usually hero point trains running in the jungle and desert where a group does them together. Tip the commander if you join their group. Gold is earned by playing the game.
Firstly you need Path of Fire. Then you need to max out all your core traits/specialisations, then you can work on using hero points you gain to start unlocking Deadeye. You can play it without every Deadeye trait unlocked though, but the other reqs are needed. The first trait will unlock the associated weapon as well.
The game has almost no character progression: leveling, elite specializations, and gear.With each expansion, all we must do is the hero challenges for the elite specs. (The gear might still be good and with stat transformation for ascended gear, it's barely a barrier).
